The monthly “Tarhi Mushaira” of the Islamic Literary Institution was held on Sunday, February 19th, at 6:30 PM at the Islamic Center rooftop bazaar in Hyderabad, India. Eminent poet Anjani Kumar Goel chaired the event. The program began with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran by Zafar Farooqui, followed by the recitation of Urdu poetry by renowned poets including Sardar Salim, Tahir Gulshanabadi, Ali Baba Durpan, Arshad Sharfi, Kaleem Sheikh Nooruddin, Amir Naweed Jaferi, Hameed Rizvi, Shakil Hyder, Mahboob Khan Asghar, Zahid Haryanvi, Khadim Rasool Aini, Saraj Ya’qoobi, Yam Yam Aref, Zafar Farooqui, and Mairajuddin Siddiqui.
Among the midst of the serious poetry, eminent humorist poets Wajid Pasha Qadri and Lateefuddin Lateef added their humorous poetry to the mix, turning the gathering into a laughter-filled occasion. Finally, the Tarhi Mushaira event came to a close with thanks given to the organizer and host Zafar Farooqui.
ادارہء ادب اسلامی شہر حیدرآباد کا ماہانہ طرحی مشاعرہ اتوار19/ فروری رات ساڑھے آٹھ بجے اسلامک سنٹر چھتہ بازار حیدرآباد میں منعقد ہوا صدارت ممتاز شاعر جناب انجنی کمار گویل نے کی ۔ ابتدا میں ظفر فاروقی کی قرآن مجید کی تلاوت وترجمانی کے بعد غزل کے دور میں صدر مشاعرہ کے علاوہ جناب سردار سلیم،جناب طاہر گلشن آبادی، جناب علی بابا درپن، جناب ارشد شرفی، جناب کلیم شیخ نور الدین، جناب امیر نوید جعفری، جناب حامد رضوی، جناب شکیل حیدر، جناب محبوب خان اصغر، جناب زاہد ہریانوی، جناب خادم رسول عینی، جناب سراج یعقوبی، جناب یم یم عارف، جناب ظفر فاروقی اور جناب معراج الدین صدیقی نے طرحی سنجیدہ کلام سنا کر خوب داد پائی۔ درمیان میں طنز و مزاح کے ممتاز شاعر جناب وحید پاشاہ قادری اور لطیف الدین لطیف نے اپنے مزاحیہ کلام سے محفل کو زعفران زار بنا دیا۔ آخر میں ناظم مشاعرہ ظفر فاروقی کے شکریہ پر یہ خوشگوار محفل اختتام کو پہنچی۔
