Tullamba, Pakistan – Sher Afgan Johar, a renowned poet, demonstrated his devotion and gratitude towards his late father, Ghazanfar Rohetki, by organizing a grand Naat recital in his honor. The annual tradition of Faateha Chelum served as the backdrop for this heartfelt event, aptly named “Bayad-e-Ghazanfar,” held at Johar’s residence in Tullamba, approximately 100 kilometers from Multan. Despite the sweltering heat, Johar’s warm hospitality and exceptional hosting skills made the journey worthwhile for the attendees, who were treated to refreshing cold drinks throughout the program.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Muhammad Bilal Khan, followed by a soul-stirring Naat performance by renowned Naat Khawan Gul Hassan. Poets from various cities in Punjab then took the stage, captivating the audience with their unique compositions. Notable guests, including Professor Dr. Shauzab Kazmi and Abbas Adeem Qureshi from Khanewal, as well as Syed Tahir and Waseem Mutaz Advocate from the United Arab Emirates, added further distinction to the event.
Sher Afgan Khan Johar expressed deep gratitude to all the esteemed guests, emphasizing the importance of preserving family legacies and cherishing the sacrifices of our ancestors. The event served as a reminder of the enduring bond between parents and their grateful children, as well as the significance of remembrance and acts of kindness in nurturing strong family connections.

تقریب کا آغاز حافظ محمد بلال خان کی تلاوت کلام پاک سے ہوا، جس کے بعد معروف نعت خواں گل حسن نے رقت آمیز نعت پیش کی۔ اس کے بعد پنجاب کے مختلف شہروں سے آئے ہوئے شعراء نے اپنی منفرد کمپوزیشن سے سامعین کو مسحور کر کے اسٹیج سنبھالا۔ خانیوال سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شوزاب کاظمی اور عباس عدیم قریشی کے علاوہ متحدہ عرب امارات سے سید طاہر اور وسیم معتز ایڈووکیٹ سمیت قابل ذکر مہمانوں نے تقریب میں مزید اضافہ کیا۔
شیر افگن خان جوہر نے تمام معزز مہمانوں کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے خاندانی وراثت کو محفوظ رکھنے اور ہمارے آباؤ اجداد کی قربانیوں کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ اس تقریب نے والدین اور ان کے شکر گزار بچوں کے درمیان پائیدار بندھن کی یاد دہانی کے ساتھ ساتھ مضبوط خاندانی روابط کو پروان چڑھانے میں یادداشت اور مہربانی کے کاموں کی اہمیت کو بھی اجاگر کیا۔
