“Parizaad” is a novel by Hashim Nadeem that revolves around societal norms and romantic sentiments. The first installment of the novel was published in a weekly magazine, and it was later printed and published in 2014. Recently, a drama series based on the story, also titled “Parizaad,” was aired on television starting from July 20, 2021, and it has received a lot of praise both nationally and internationally.

“Parizaad” is the story of a person whose life revolves around financial corruption. He is caught up in this issue and his appearance is also not good. Due to his financial problems, he becomes a victim of social injustice and mistreatment throughout his life. He is very lonely, sad, depressed, troubled, and wants to be loved by someone. So he runs after love, but everywhere he faces failure and disappointment. Finally, colors of spring begin to bloom in his life. The star of his destiny travels up to the peak of brilliance. The goddess of wealth becomes kind to him, and the queen of fame turns towards his house. Now he becomes a wealthy person and his popularity increases among people because of his wealth and riches. However, his wealth and fame cannot free him from his past life, and he cannot attain inner peace.

Hashim Nadeem is one of the most popular writers in Pakistan. Each of his novels has an unforgettable and remarkable ending, such as “Abdullah,” “Khuda Aur Mohabbat,” and “Bachpan Ka December,” among others. However, his storytelling in “Parizaad” could not be sustained, and its ending seemed unsatisfactory and superficial. This was not the expected outcome from Hashim Nadeem. It is not necessary that every story has a happy ending, or that every story has a good ending. But some stories have a bad ending, yet a good turn at the end makes it memorable, and that was missing in Parizaad.

پری زاد (ناول) ہاشم ندیم کی تخلیق ہے جو معاشرتی قدروں اور رومانوی احساسات پر مشتمل ہے۔ اس ناول کی پہلی قسط ایک نجی ہفتہ وار میگزین میں شائع ہوئی اور بعد ازاں 2014 میں یہ ناول باقاعدہ طباعت کے مراحل سے گزرا اور حال ہی میں اس کہانی پر مشتمل ایک ڈرامہ سیریل “پری زاد” ہی کے نام سے ڈھالا گیا یہ ڈرامہ ہم ٹی وی پر 20 جولائی 2021ء کو نشر ہونا شروع ہوا جسے ملک و بیرون ملک بہت پزیرائی حاصل ہوئی۔

پری زاد ایک شخص کی کہانی ہے جو بچپن سے جوانی تک کا احاطہ کرتی ہے۔ وہ شخص مالی استحصال کا شکار ہے اور اسی مسئلہ میں گرفتار رہتا ہے اور ساتھ ہی اس کی شکل و صورت خوب رو نہیں ہے ۔ یہ اپنی بدصورتی اور زندگی میں مالی پریشانی کے باعث معاشرتی ناانصافی اور بدسلوکی کا شکار رہتا ہے۔ یہ بہت تنہا، یاسیت کا مارا، اداسی کا پیکر، پریشانی کی مورت اور ہر جگہ سے دھتکارا ہواشخص چاہتا ہے کہ اسے بھی کسی سے محبت ہو ۔ سو وہ محبت کے حصول کے لیے دوڑ دھوپ کرتا ہے مگر ہر جگہ ناکامی و نامرادی اس کےگلے کا طوق بنتی ہے ۔ بلاآخر اس کی زندگی میں رنگ بہار کی مانند پھول کھلنے شروع ہوتے ہیں ۔ اس کی قسمت کا ستارہ اوج ثریا تک سفر گزار ہوتا ہے ۔ مال و دولت کی دیوی اس پر مہربان ہوتی ہے ،شہرت کی ملکہ اس کے گھر کا رخ کر لیتی ہے۔اب یہ صاحبِ ثروت ہو جاتا ہے اور اس کے مال و زر کی وجہ سے لوگوں میں اس کی مقبولیت بڑھتی ہے ۔ مگر اس کا مال و دولت اور اس کی شہرت اس کی سابقہ زندگی سے اسے کسی صورت چھٹکارا نہیں دلا سکی اور نہ ہی اسے قلبی سکون حاصل ہوا۔

ہاشم ندیم پاکستان کے صف اول کے مقبول ترین لکھاری ہیں۔ اور ان کے ہر ناول کی انجام دہی لاجواب اور یاد گار ہوتی ہے۔ جیسے “عبداللہ”، “خدا اور محبت”اور “بچپن کا دسمبر”وغیرہ مگر پری زاد میں ان کی یہ روایت برقرار نہ رہ سکی اور اس کا اختتام بے تکا سا لگتا ہے جو سطحی ہے جبکہ ہاشم ندیم سے یہ توقع نہیں کی جا سکتی تھی۔ضروری نہیں ہے کہ ہر کہانی کا اختتام برا ہو یا ہر کہانی کا انجام اچھا ہو۔ مگر کچھ کہانیاں ایسی ہوتی ہیں جن کا انجام برا ہی ہو تو اختتام اچھا موڑ لے کر اسے یادگار بنا دیتا ہے اور یہی حال پری زاد کے ساتھ ہوا۔
