Literary Society of Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, under the supervision of Rahim Yar Khan, is organizing the second annual poetry event, “Baran-e-Adab,” in 2023, named after Amjad Islam Amjad. Last year, this program was highly successful, with poets from far and wide participating. This year, just like the previous year, renowned poets from all over Pakistan will be gathered to enhance the grandeur of this poetry gathering.
The event will take place on June 16, 2023, Friday, at 4:00 PM in the County Center of Khawaja Fareed University, Rahim Yar Khan. Jabbar Waseef will preside over this poetry event. In addition to him, the guest poets who will participate are Ali Zaryoun, Tahzeeb Hafi, Rana Aamir Liaquat, Komal Joiya, Amanullah Arshad, Ajmal Farid, Umair Najmi, Shahbaz Nair, and Dr. Naeemullah Anmol.
It is important to note that this poetry event is not free. Students who wish to participate are required to pay a fee of 350 Pakistani Rupees, while non-students of the university will need to pay 1000 Pakistani Rupees as an entry ticket to attend the event.

رحیم یار خان کی زیر نگرانی خواجہ فرید یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کی لٹریری سوسائٹی امجد اسلام امجد کے نام سے 2023 میں دوسرا سالانہ شعری پروگرام ’’بارانِ ادب‘‘ منعقد کر رہی ہے۔ پچھلے سال یہ پروگرام انتہائی کامیاب رہا جس میں دور دراز سے شعراء نے شرکت کی۔ گزشتہ سال کی طرح اس سال بھی اس شعری محفل کی رونق بڑھانے کے لیے پاکستان بھر سے نامور شعراء اکٹھے ہوں گے۔
یہ تقریب 16 جون 2023 بروز جمعہ شام 4:00 بجے خواجہ فرید یونیورسٹی رحیم یار خان کے کاؤنٹی سینٹر میں ہوگی۔ اس مشاعرے کی صدارت جبار واصف کریں گے۔ ان کے علاوہ جو مہمان شعرا شرکت کریں گے ان میں علی زریون، تہذیب حفی، رانا عامر لیاقت، کومل جوئیہ، امان اللہ ارشد، اجمل فرید، عامر نجمی، شہباز نیر، اور ڈاکٹر نعیم اللہ انمول شامل ہیں۔
غور طلب بات یہ ہے کہ شاعری کا یہ واقعہ آزاد نہیں ہے۔ جو طلباء شرکت کرنا چاہتے ہیں انہیں 350 پاکستانی روپے فیس ادا کرنا ہوگی جبکہ یونیورسٹی کے غیر طلباء کو تقریب میں شرکت کے لیے 1000 پاکستانی روپے بطور داخلہ ٹکٹ ادا کرنے ہوں گے۔
