Under the auspices of the Feroz Adab Society, the first ever “Mother and Son Poetry Competition” is being held in Daska, with poets from all over Pakistan participating in the event. The competition will take place on May 6, 2023, from 7pm to 10pm, at the residence of Deputy Chairman Chaudhry Aftab Shahid Goriya Pasrur Road, Tehsil Diska, District Sialkot.
The advertisement for the event has been released on social media by the Feroz Adab Society’s publication and broadcasting department. The renowned scholar Mufti Abu Mohammad will be in attendance at this poetry competition , where each poet will recite their own work.
The Mother and Son Poetry Competition will be chaired by Yunus Tehseen, with special guests including Ahmad Aqeel, Ajaz Kamal Rana, Ali Hasheem, and Hasib Iqbal. Distinguished guests include Reis Jami, Ali Arsh, Owais Anjum, Samiullah Saram, Maaz Yousaf, and Abdul Basit Qamar. In addition to local poets, poets from other cities will also participate in the competition.

فیروز ادب سوسائٹی کے زیراہتمام پہلی بار “ماں اور بیٹا شاعری مقابلہ” ڈسکہ میں منعقد ہو رہا ہے جس میں پاکستان بھر سے شعراء کرام شرکت کر رہے ہیں۔ مقابلہ 6 مئی 2023 کو شام 7 بجے سے رات 10 بجے تک ڈپٹی چیئرمین چوہدری آفتاب شاہد گوریا پسرو روڈ تحصیل ڈسکہ ضلع سیالکوٹ کی رہائش گاہ پر ہوگا۔
فیروز ادب سوسائٹی کے شعبہ اشاعت و نشریات کی جانب سے تقریب کا اشتہار سوشل میڈیا پر جاری کر دیا گیا ہے۔ اس شعری مقابلے میں معروف عالم دین مفتی ابو محمد شرکت کریں گے جہاں ہر شاعر اپنا اپنا کلام سنائے گا۔
تقریب کی صدارت یونس طاہر کریں گے، مہمان خصوصی احمد عقیل، اعجاز کمال رانا، علی ہاشم اور حسیب اقبال تھے۔ معزز مہمانوں میں رئیس جامی، علی عرش، اویس انجم، سمیع اللہ سرم، معاذ یوسف، اور عبدالباسط قمر شامل ہیں۔ مقابلے میں مقامی شعراء کے علاوہ دیگر شہروں کے شعراء بھی شرکت کریں گے۔
