“Jannat Ke Patte” is a famous novel by Nimrah Ahmed, which evolves around a Pakistani student, Haya Salman, at the LLB (Honours) programme at a Turkish university. جنت کے پتے نمرہ احمد کا مشہور زمانہ ناول ہے اس کی کہانی ایل ایل بی(آنرز) کی ایک طالبہ جس کا نام حیا سلیمان ہے کے گرد گھومتی ہے۔ حیا سلیمان ایک روایت پسند پاکستانی خاندان سے تعلق رکھتی ہے۔ جسے اخلاقی قدریں وراثت میں ملی تھیں۔ حیا کو ترکی کے ایک جامعہ( یونیورسٹی) میں سکالر شپ پر داخلہ ملتا ہے اور وہ حصولِ تعلیم کے لئے استبول کا رخ کرتی یے جہاں اس کی زندگی میں ایک اہم موڑ آتا ہے ۔ناول “جنت کے پتے” کے مرکزی پلاٹ میں مذہبی رنگ نمایاں نظر آتا ہے۔اور قاری کو جگہ جگہ اس کی جھلکیاں نظر آتی ہیں۔
اس ناول میں نمرہ احمد آپ کو استنبول کی گلیوں سے باسفورس کے سمندر تک، کپاڈوشیا کے غاروں سے لے کر ہندوستانی جیلوں کے ٹارچر سیلوں تک لے جاتی ہے۔جیسے جیسے آپ نمرہ احمد کا یہ شہکار ناول پڑھتے چلے جاتے ہیں تو یہ آپ کو ایسی دنیا میں لے جا تا ہے جہاں کہانی حسین سے حسین تر دیکھائی دینے لگتی ہے۔یہ پوری کہانی اسی کے گرد کھومتی ہے۔ اس کہانی کی سب سے زیادہ دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ پاکستانی فوج کے جاسوس ہیروز کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنا ہے۔ اس ناول میں گمنام ہیروز کی عظمت کو سلام پیش کیا گیا ہے۔
اس ناول کے تمام کے تمام کردار نہایت مثبت پیش کیے گئے ہیں۔ حیاکے والد ان کے بھائی بہن اور پھر ان کی اولاداور خصوصا جہان سکندر کا کردار جس کا نکاح بچپن ہی میں حیا سے ہو گیا تھا۔اور بعد ازاں ان کا نکاح خیار بلوغ میں دوبارہ ہوتا ہے ۔ اور ان کی ایک پیاری بیٹی ہوتی ہے جس کا نام خدیجہ رکھا جاتا ہے۔اس کہانی میں حیا کو ایک باکردار، ملنسار، ذہین، سمجھدار، حسن نیت سے مرصع، ثابت قدم اور ایک مذہبی شخصیت کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا
